Bernie is No John Lewis or a Democrat

Putin couldn’t have done it without Bernie

Bernie and his Brats are trying to do a hit and run. They wrecked the election and are now attempting to flee the scene.

History unlearned, or worse, re-written, repeats. That’s why I stand up for examining truth. The Russian government may have installed Donald Trump as President, but they couldn’t have done it without Bernie Sanders, the guy who once honeymooned in the Soviet Union.

For some reason, the Bernie or Bust crowd seems thrilled with Trump beating Clinton, almost as if beating Clinton was always their only goal. Maybe they think Rust Belt voters would have swooned for a leftist socialist atheist who never held a job outside of government, but I don’t.

Now, after doing more than anyone to beat up Clinton, Sanders wants a say in a party he still hasn’t joined. He wasn’t a Democrat before he inserted himself into the 2016 Democratic Primary (a hijacking attempt that DNC leaders should have nipped in the bud by telling him to either join the party or be disqualified) and he isn’t a Democrat now, even after the destruction he caused.

The major reason Bernie never became a Democrat while seeking to lead the Democratic Party is because he’s a narcissist who never voted for anyone until he voted for himself. It is ALL about him.

Despite casting himself as a Civil Rights hero, Bernie Sanders never voted for any of the civil rights heroes of the Civil Rights era. He didn’t vote for anyone until he was into his 30’s when he voted for himself. He didn’t vote for Kennedy, Johnson, Humphrey or McGovern. He didn’t care if Goldwater or Nixon won.

His supporters treat him like John Lewis while tossing the actual John Lewis under Rosa Parks bus (for daring to back Hillary Clinton).

Here’s Bernie bragging about not giving a damn about voting in a 1987 article in the Gadfly, a University of Vermont student newspaper.

img_2276

Apparently, Bernie Sanders only liked to talk about politics, not do anything meaningful to change things like organizing voter drives or all the various things real community leaders do, for example: voting. (GOOGLE Obama, Barack or Clinton, Hillary for examples of effective community organizers.)

Some may question the relevance of Bernie’s narcissistic voting habits, but I believe it perfectly explains Bernie’s careless disparagement of the Democratic Party that so graciously endured his constant jabs at its leaders and longtime supporters like myself who have voted in every damn election since I was legally allowed to (and never once been called a “shill” until this year).

Remember when Bernie cried “rigged” over the Superdelegates? His supporters sure do. They still claim the election was rigged. Who can blame them when their leader said so?

Bernie’s top campaign advisor Tad Devine actually invented the superdelegate system in the 1980s, but that didn’t stop his fanatics from blaming Debbie Wasserman Shultz. The Bernie Brats know more about the hierarchy of the DNC than they do their own state governments.

Once Bernie was mathematically eliminated from the nomination, he changed his mind about those evil SDs. He needed them. Hillary had 18 million votes and he only had 13 million. What to do?

So he then called on those same dastardly SDs to reverse the election and nominate him instead of Hillary at the convention. His supporters then began harassing delegates at their homes. (It’s hard to distinguish Bernie’s and Trump’s supporters sometimes).

Bernie stayed in the race too long and held out the false hope to his fans that Hillary would get indicted over emails. His wife Jane even begged the FBI to hurry it up! He refused to concede when any other candidate would have to avoid dividing the party, but he wasn’t a Democrat anyway, so dividing the party he never cared for wasn’t really his concern.

Then WikiLeaks and Russia decided to get involved, selectively leaking hacked emails from the DNC suggesting (GASP) that longtime Democratic Party leaders might prefer nominating an actual Democrat to lead their party. The Bernie kids ate up the Russia propaganda like it was free college.

Hoping to change the outcome, his delegates disrupted the nationally televised Democratic Convention, an event meant to showcase the party platform and nominee.

The 227 year old glass ceiling got shattered when for the first time a woman became the nominee of a major party, but Hillary and her supporters were denied that celebration.

Instead of celebrating this history, instead of celebrating the achievements of a woman who has been an inspiration to millions world-wide, Bernie’s boorish delegates booed and interrupted speakers at the convention, including John Lewis. Even Bernie supporter Sarah Silverman got booed and she told them on prime time TV that they were acting like babies. Bernie more than anyone brought us Donald Trump.

Despite everything, Hilary was up 7-12 points in some polls 11 days from the election. It took the FBI Director’s last minute letter to defeat Hillary, but she shouldn’t have been in that danger zone where 80,000 votes in 3 swing States decided the election.

The answer to Hillary’s question on why she wasn’t up by 50 points against Donald Trump is: Bernie Sanders.

  1. The reason Hillary Clinton lost the election is Hillary Clinton. The problem with articles like this is that there is no accountability. It’s so much easier to blame Bernie Sanders. Well, in the past month, we’ve seen Bernie calling Trump out daily, not Clinton. We’ve seen Bernie fighting the North Dakota Pipeline. Hillary still hasn’t taken a position on that. So, how about instead of blaming Bernie, you take a look in the mirror and ask yourself how we return the democratic party to the working class because warped viewpoints such as this are only going to get us Trump for 4 more years. Establishment Democrats are out whether you like it or not. True progressives are tired of the arrogance, the arrogance of the DNC. If you want to blame anyone, I’d suggest you start there.

    Yours truly,

    Bernie Brat #14,761,363

    • My “warped viewpoint” is based on a number of data points, none of which you bothered to refute in attacking me for speaking my opinion on a subject I’m very acquainted with. Why do you attack? Are you a Bernie cultist? Or do you have a terminal case of Clinton Derangement Syndrome? Thanks for commenting either way. I Love when people prove my point.

      Hillary Voter 65 million+++

    • Bernie is a sorry old man that done his damage I hated him before I ever knew about him and I hate him more today he is a liar he stood there and promised the world free on a platter but never once said how was he going to pay for it YOU people were so ignorant you believed every word it was going to be free WELL GUESS WHAT nothing is free it always has to be paid for .

    • James you have to look at big picture puzzle. Lots of pieces. She was attack on so many fronts w/o justification.People dont think to look at her extensive record. She has worked for the good of people taking lumps for others. Bernie trump or all others cant come close to what she has fought for worked for People never backing away from a fight. Why r u taking stance? Soindslike its a matter of gender?

  2. Hey John, love your points…all of them! I wrote my Congressional delegates three weeks ago saying many of the same things and asking that they limit Sanders’ influence in our Party. We do need to retool, though, and stop bringing our butter knife to gun fights.

  3. John, thank you for this. You include many of the talking points that i (and other Hillary supporters) espoused during the over-long run-up to the general election. Bernie Brats are attacking me on my own page, particularly in response to your article. Bernie is a washed up Bolshevik who has secured his place in history as the candidate who gave us Trump. “Bernard the ‘Red’-nosed Bolshevik…you’ll go down in history…for your idiocy.”

  4. I developed a strong distaste for Barnyard Bernie when he had the audacity to stick his nose into California politics to try and help proposition 61 pass. I was appalled to see his face endorsing something that would have hurt people on Medicare, the sick, and the elderly. Thank God that it did not pass! He’s a crooked thief that doesn’t care about people. I’m not surprised about this in the least. Just makes me wonder about the true motives of people here after all… 😦

  5. Yeah, and somehow Barack Obama managed to win, against a much stronger GOP candidate, after having a similar long and tough primary. The truth you seem to be so insistent on ignoring is, Hillary was the only Dem candidate that could have conceivably lost to DT. The GOP had been working on impugning her character for over a decade, it didn’t take Sanders to make her unlikable in the eyes of a great many Americans, she was an unlikable candidate from the start and her campaign strategy ended up being laughable. Please stop insisting that half of the Dem party is just plain wrong for supporting Sanders and start looking to the future where we can start finding candidates that satisfy the overwhelming majority of the party AND some independents, otherwise no lessons will be learned and we will continue to lose. Childish tantrums are supposed to be the territory of the opposition not the “thinking” left, so grow up and start working towards real solutions.

    • Your comment is so filled with error it’s hard to begin….

First off, Bernie lost the Dem primary by 4 MILLION votes. Hillary got 56% of the left leaning primary vote. His fans are not Democrats, but slackers who don’t vote.

2nd, putting up a candidate with experience and a record fighting the GOP is always tough. Bernie spent 30 years as a professional outsider without accomplishment. Bernie was an unknown Santa figure promising rainbow unicorns to gullible college students.

Lastly, you neglected to mention FBI and Russian interference in helping Trump, which I’m guessing you celebrated.

      • Most early Sanders supporters gladly came over to support Hillary once the primary was over. So, the majority were not the problem. Instead, it was the minority Sanders’ supporters…the true believers that he continued to rant to even as it was clear post New York that (1) he had lost the primary, and (2) he was losing huge chunks of his supporters to Hillary with each passing day (as people started to throw their support behind the obvious Democratic nominee). THOSE PEOPLE, the true believing shitheels are the ones who wrote in Sanders, wrote in someone else, or voted third party. THOSE PEOPLE are the ones who amounted to 160+k votes being wasted in Florida (not even county third party votes), and unknown amounts in Michigan, Pennsylvania, etc. So, but for those true believers — who Sanders stoked to the nth degree to hate Hillary — those people cost us the election. Sanders could only hope that ultimately Hillary would lose because had she won Sanders would have been relegated back to where he started: the ineffectual hot bag of air sitting in the corner pouting about how he is a better person than anyone else in the room.

  6. The BernieBots still screaming “rigged primaries” never get that FACTS long ago disproved their jabble! Clinton won by 3.7 million votes won more open contests and did better with minorities. There was no vote switching nor Nevada convention hanky panky! Lastly,Sanders was NEVER tested on his past that may have been a hard sell in the general election!

The “bombshell” e-mail was after Sanders had been mathematically eliminated and expressed staffers’ frustration;independent who never campaigned or fund raised for Democrats and stole Clinton data!

As for the DNC lawsuit, where is the A-B-C evidence of a screwjob? Where is the evidence of people donating to the DNC and not a campaign and being defrauded? If Sanders knew the fix was in yet continued to solicit contributions,it would reflect poorly on him! Plus, any “screwjob” would require the cooperation of many state and local officials, a few being Republicans!

The DNC is a private entity! Just as Citi and CrossFit regularly change their policies, procedures and benchmarks, the DNC can do likewise.Courts are reluctant to get involved unless those acts violate the law or harm the public!

I wonder if many such persons have ever even been on a date to McDonald’s! Bottom line: There was no goddamn screwjob in 2016! More Democrats wanted Clinton. Period!
